It is safe to say that when it comes to the Nars Radiant Longwear Foundation, it works incredibly well with every other makeup item that I have in my collection. If a new product doesn’t suit the rest, it gets kicked out of the collection. I have some all-time favourite products that are amazing. For example, I don’t want to try a new foundation and it affect my tried and true moisturising base. It is always very important to me, how they work with my other makeup products that I use. No matter where I was applying this product it just glided straight on the skin and looked like sheer perfection. I found that the Nars Radiant Longwear just performed like I was throwing nothing at it. It means that products now need to work in areas where I am dry, oily and pretty normal. Now, I am 26 years old and my skin is a combination nightmare. As I reached my early twenties my skin was much more oily and I could just combat that with a mattifying primer. In my early teenage years, I had very normal skin with no special requirements, I could lather on my Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse and it would stay in place all day long without any issues. I feel like the older that I get, the more difficult my skin is becoming. For me, I know that no matter what Nars foundation I am wearing, Syracuse is going to be the shade for me when it comes to a foundation. I can remember in my early teenage years going into a store to buy the Sheer Glow Foundation and seeing them all laid out on the counter was just incredible, I even went back the following week with my friend Zara who has a wonderfully deep complexion and for years in the noughties she could only get ashy looking foundations. Long before a couple of years back when every brand started launching with 40+ shades, Nars was paving the way and has always been an incredibly inclusive brand. Something that I feel like Nars really do deserve praise with is their incredible shade range. Honestly, when I say that I wish I got my hands on this sooner and tried it out. I love that this foundation gives you the ability to tailor the look of your foundation, without it being too heavy right from the first swipe of product. Honestly, I feel like this suits me down to the ground because I have fairly clear skin, where I am happy to wear a medium coverage, then I have areas on my cheeks of sun damage, where I like to add some more coverage. I would say that this Nars Radiant Longwear Foundation has a medium coverage, but it is very buildable and you can easily pack on the coverage to get to a full coverage base. Needless to say, I am now kicking myself that I didn’t give this foundation a fair try when I first got my hands on it and because of that I thought that now would be a great time to sit down and write a review for you guys,įirst up, I want to talk to you guys about the level of coverage that this amazing foundation has. It wasn’t until Nars disgracefully discontinued the All Day Luminous that I reached into the depths of my collection and pulled back out my Nars Radiant Longwear foundation. I can remember first buying this many years back when it was first released, but at the time I was in a steamy love affair with the Nars All Day Luminous Foundation, so this one just slipped into the shadows a little. Today I am going to chat to you guys all about the amazing Nars Radiant Longwear Foundation. It is time for a new beauty post here on my blog.
